Ontario Premier Doug Ford said Thursday’s he would be “willing” to step in to help the cash-strapped Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, and called on the city and federal governments to also “pitch in.” He added, “we can’t let go of the history of the CNE.”
