The Centers for Disease Control and Administration (CDC) advised in a letter sent to governors Aug. 27 to plan for the distribution of potentially “millions of vaccine doses” with a target date of Nov. 1, two days before the presidential election, raising concerns about the speed and safety of a potential COVID-19 vaccine. It comes as more colleges and universities are switching to online learning amid new infections at campuses.
