With the uncertainty of COVID-19 combined with an ailing ice plant and arena, the Town of Millet decided to the close facility this winter – putting the hockey season in jeopardy for more than 80 kids. But as John Sexsmith reports, the Wetaskiwin Minor Hockey Association, located just 15-minutes down the road, has stepped up to help.
