After announcing two new deals for possible COVID-19 vaccines in Canada, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Monday also announced that the federal government is providing over $126 million to expand the biomanufacturing facility at the National Research Council (NRC) in Royalmount, Que. for vaccine production when one is developed.
