N.S. host family, student ‘devastated’ by cancellation of international exchange program

The Nova Scotia Education Department decided late last week that international secondary students would not be allowed to attend school in September, unless they stayed in the province over the summer. As Elizabeth McSheffrey reports, the decision surprised many host families and students who were expecting to be reunited in the fall.
