The driver of a gravel truck was taken to hospital following a rollover on Porter Road near Bethany on Tuesday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the scene north of Highway 7A around 7 a.m.
City of Kawartha Lakes firefighters had to extricate the driver from the cab of the truck.
The truck lost all of its load of gravel.
A detour is in place while the scene is being cleaned up. Porter Road is closed between Lifford Road and Highway 7A.
City of Kawartha Lakes OPP are investigating the cause of the crash.
