New Conservative leader Erin O’Toole wins decisive victory in part due to Alberta

The Conservative Party of Canada has a new leader: Durham MP Erin O’Toole. Global’s Ottawa bureau chief Mercedes Stephenson says the former RCAF officer played on his military credentials throughout the campaign and his victory came, in part, due to key support in the Prairie provinces and Quebec.
