It was on Aug. 21, 1876 that the Plains, Wood Cree, Nakota, Saulteaux and Dene people signed Treaty 6 with The Crown. In 2013 Edmonton proclaimed Treaty 6 Recognition Day as a way to acknowledge the achievements and contributions of local First Nations people. Grand Chief William Morin shares details.
