A driver captured these near-apocalyptic scenes on Tuesday, Aug. 18 as he drove through the Hennessey Fire on Highway 128 and Steele Canyon Road in Napa County, Calif. Flames burned on either side of his vehicle, with numerous trees in flames and earth scorched, as he tried to evacuate himself from one of the numerous fires burning in the state.
