Carla Qualtrough, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion announced on Thursday that Canadians will have access to the Canadian Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) for an additional four weeks. Qualtrough also announced changes to the Employment Insurance program, including a “one-time top up of insurable hours” to Canadians applying to EI.
