Former First Lady Michelle Obama on Monday during the opening night of the Democratic National Convention said that as the country goes through a pandemic, and with race relations at the forefront following the death of George Floyd and several other persons of colour, when people have turned to the White House for leadership, they’ve been met with “chaos, division and a total and utter lack of empathy.”
