White House senior adviser Jared Kushner on CBS’ Face The Nation on Sunday criticized the use of mail-in ballots for the 2020 U.S. presidential election, saying they need a “tried and true” system like absentee ballots. Kushner said using a “new system being tried” when there’s not enough time to ensure it works successfully will not give Americans “confidence in the elections.”
