In an appearance on NBC’s Meet the Press Sunday, Sen. Bernie Sanders said that by defunding the U.S. postal service, President Donald Trump is doing “everything he can” to suppress the vote. He said Trump is trying to make it more difficult to vote by mail “at a time when people will be putting their lives on the line” by going to polling stations amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
