World Health Organization officials responded on Thursday to a question on the safety of the food chain, after China announced frozen chicken wings from Brazil have tested positive for COVID-19, by saying there is still no evidence that consuming food will transmit COVID-19 and that the virus can be killed once the meat is properly cooked.
