Coronavirus: Canada’s deputy chief public health officer says it’s ‘surprising’ Russian vaccine has been approved so quickly

Canada’s Deputy Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Howard Njoo on Tuesday spoke about Russia’s announcement that it had approved a novel coronavirus vaccine, becoming the first country to approve a vaccine for use in tens of thousands of its citizens despite international skepticism about injections that have not completed clinical trials.
