During the early days of lockdown, a group of women skateboarders from Nova Scotia decided to try and encourage other girls and women to join the sport by posting videos online of skateboarding sessions. The social media campaign created a buzz and now the group is looking to build off of that momentum by hosting ‘all girls and women’ skate tours across the province with COVID-19 safety protocols in place.
