A research model from the University of Washington School of Medicine is painting a grim prediction for the U.S. that the death toll for the country from COVID-19 could reach 300,000 by early December, but says consistent mask-wearing could save about 70,000 lives. Late Thursday, Gov. Mike DeWine also announced he had tested negative for COVID-19 after an initial rapid-test ahead of a planned meeting with President Donald Trump came back positive.
