U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday announced six more promises to Americans, stating the first two were about the coronavirus, promising they would defeat the “China virus” and touted production of personal protective equipment. During the speech, Trump also spoke about how children respond to COVID-19, saying “very young children are incredibly powerful,” amending his comments from a day prior in which he said children were “almost immune” to the virus.
