Beirut explosion: International development minister says Canadian government ‘working around the clock to provide assistance’

On Thursday, Canada’s International Development Minister Karina Gould offered condolences on behalf of the government of Canada and all Canadians for those affected by the explosion that occurred in Beirut, Lebanon on Tuesday. Gould stated that the government is “working around the clock to provide assistance and support,” and outlined how response funding will be dispersed.
