The top U.S. infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci told Congress on Friday that there are multiple COVID-19 vaccine candidates, which he said “are moving along at a very rapid pace.” Fauci added that he hopes there will be a vaccine that is safe and effective by “late fall and early winter.”
