U.S. Rep. David Cicilline challenged Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Wednesday over the platform’s response to content containing misinformation. The congressman cited several videos – including one that called studies finding hydroxychloroquine to be ineffective against COVID-19 as “fake science” – and asked whether the platform was so big “you can’t contain deadly content.” Zuckerberg said there were policies in place, and they have a “relatively good track record” removing COVID-19 misinformation.
