U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday appeared to compare the unrest in Portland, Ore., to the situation in Venezuela, blaming “agitators” for turmoil in the city and threatening to send in the U.S. National Guard if the local governments aren’t able to “solve that problem.” Demonstrators have held protests almost every night in that city since the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minn., to protest racial injustice and police brutality.
