Health Minister Patty Hajdu said on Friday that the launching of the government’s COVID-19 app came later that initially announced because her team wanted to ensure the app was a user-friendly and free from technical issues. She added that her team has been working closely with the privacy commissioner to “best protect Canadians’ privacy.”
