B.C.’s top doctor says face masks will not be mandated at schools in September

Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry confirms face masks will not be required for in-class learning in B.C. schools this September. Henry explains this decision was made based on evidence from around the world and that the “hierarchy of control” is a safer way to reduce the risks of transmitting the virus.
