Coronavirus: Trump won’t say he’s ‘fully responsible’ for COVID-19 impact on U.S., calls it team response

U.S. President Donald Trump repeated his claim that the coronavirus would eventually “disappear.” Asked about the impact COVID-19 has had on the country, with almost 140,000 deaths and over 3.5 million cases, Trump said he “could say I’m fully responsible” but said he views the U.S. response as a team with state governors. He also said that come November people should judge him not only on the virus response, but on other aspects including the economy, rebuilding the military and how his administration has assisted veterans.
