Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie said on Tuesday that there was a misrepresentation of Peel’s new COVID-19 numbers on July 21, and that there was not an uptick in new cases. She said they are migrating to a new data collection system that caused a backlog, and reported 22 cases as opposed to the previously reported 57, four of which were in Mississauga.
