Portland protests: White House says federal agents justified in acting well away from federal property

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany told reporters Tuesday that in the legal opinion of the Trump administration, federal officers acting to protect federal property in places like Portland, OR are justified in acting well away from the property they are protecting in order to “investigate” possible crimes.
