Toronto Blue Jays denied federal approval to play home games in Canada

The Blue Jays can’t play home games in Toronto this season after the federal government on Saturday rejected the team’s plan to use the Rogers Centre. The federal government had previously given the team the green light to hold training camp at the Rogers Centre without the normal 14-day quarantine period for those entering Canada.
