New statue replaces toppled slave trader effigy in England

Recent reckonings with racist historical figures triggered the toppling of statues around the world, including one of 17th century slave trader Edward Colston in Bristol, England. As Redmond Shannon explains, a local artist has put up a new statue to celebrate the Black Lives Matter movement, and residents seem to approve.
