Conservative MP Michael Barrett said on Friday the Conservatives would not try to “bring down the government” despite calling for a criminal investigation into the now-cancelled WE Charity contract with the federal government. He said what they want is to get accountability from the government and they want Parliament recalled, something they’ve been asking for over the past several months.
