Nova Scotia limits pandemic bonus to select health-care workers, union leaders disappointed

Union leaders say they’re disappointed that a special bonus for working during the pandemic will not be given to all essential workers in Nova Scotia. As Elizabeth McSheffrey reports, distribution will also be restricted to front-line health-care workers who have had contact with patients or residents in the past four months, with few exceptions, eliminating many of their members’ eligibility.
