Conservative MP Pierre Poilievre on Wednesday, in response to the government’s economic and fiscal snapshot, criticized Finance Minister Bill Morneau saying he could “not bring himself to utter” the size of the debt or the country’s deficit, saying that Canada’s debt had reached $1.06 trillion and its projecting a deficit of $343 billion.
