Coronavirus: NDP’s Singh predicts Liberals, Conservatives will push to cut financial aid after ‘economic snapshot’ released

On Wednesday, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh said that after the fiscal snapshot of Canada’s economic health is released on Wednesday, he thinks the Conservatives will ask the Liberal minority government cut financial supports to Canadians amid the coronavirus pandemic and that the Liberals will do the same. Singh said, “If people struggle, the economy will also struggle.”
