U.S. Vice-President Mike Pence said on Tuesday that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will be releasing new guidelines on preparing communities for the return to schools, decision-making tools for parents and caregivers, among other aspects. He said while they are seeing rising cases in the “Sun Belt,” including the states of Georgia and Texas, they’re ensuring health-care workers and officials have the equipment and personnel support they need.
