Kanye West’s Yeezy company, Hollywood production companies and a law firm who has defended President Donald Trump were among those on the list of those who received funding from the Paycheck Protection Program enacted in April to assist small businesses and keep their employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. The funds did, however, reach a wide swath of businesses including more than US$67 billion for healthcare and social assistance.
