AFN, Canadian government sign ‘historic’ Protocol to reform First Nations child and family services

Canadian Minister of Indigenous Services Marc Miller and National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations Perry Bellegarde on Tuesday signed a “historic” Protocol for reforming child and family services for Indigenous communities — something, as Miller said, affirms the rights of those communities over this area to decide what’s best for their children and families.
