Heavy rains moved through parts of southern Japan on Saturday, leaving many houses, buildings and vehicles submerged. At least 18 people have been confirmed dead, with more than a dozen killed in nursing home facility, while another 16 people are missing and presumed dead as search and rescue efforts continued Sunday.
