Trump names tentative list of ‘American heroes’ to be commemorated in ‘national garden’

During his Independence Day address on July 4, U.S. President Donald Trump shared a tentative list of the first 30 “American heroes” that will be commemorated in a “national garden” filled with statues of notable historically significant figures. This comes after the president criticized what he has previously called “angry mobs” vandalizing Confederate statues.
