Whether people were seeking a pint from a pub, a bite from a restaurant or a well-deserved trim from a hair salon, U.K. residents were able to do so after all three types of businesses reopened following the country’s COVID-19 lockdown being eased. Prime Minister Boris Johnson, in announcing the reopening, called on people to behave responsibly and respect social distancing regulations to avoid a potential resurgence of the coronavirus.
