Rising concern: heavy rains create high water levels, flood risk in BC

Flood warnings remain in effect for parts of the BC Cariboo where several rural properties south east of Quesnel have been placed on evacuation alert. Unseasonably heavy rains across the province have made for high river levels and a number of communities remain on edge as the water works its way down to the Lower Mainland.
