The Royal Canadian Mounted Police says an operation that unfolded early Thursday morning at Rideau Hall, the official residence of Governor General Julie Payette, was the result of an armed man accessing the grounds. A man was arrested without incident and is now in police custody. Video captured by Global News shows a bomb disposal robot investigating a black pickup truck on the RIdeau Hall grounds.
