Police clear Seattle’s organized protest zone

Barriers around Seattle organized protest zone were removed today as city leaders try to wind down the protests that led to the evacuation of a police precinct. The Capitol Hill Organized Protest, or CHOP, zone was created after the death of George Floyd. While the protests were usually peaceful, four shooting in or near the zone ignited calls for the protest zone to end.
