Coronavirus: Nova Scotia appoints Quality Improvement Committee to review Northwood COVID-19 outbreak

Northwood Manor is the largest long-term care facility in Atlantic Canada. During the outbreak, 345 people at the facility got sick — 246 residents and 99 staff members — from the disease. Official tallies indicate 53 people died at the facility, or 84 per cent of the 63 people who have died from the disease in all of Nova Scotia.
