Some of the victims of the “Golden State Killer,” Joseph James DeAngelo Jr., attended court on Monday to hear him plead guilty to 13 charges of murder and dozens of rapes that were too old to prosecute. DeAngelo Jr. sat facing more than 150 surviving victims and their family members, many whom stood as their specific case was read out.
