Coronavirus: WHO director-general says ‘the worst is yet to come’ regarding pandemic, pleads to ‘quarantine COVID politics’

On Monday, World Health Organization (WHO) director-general Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said that amid the COVID-19 pandemic, “What matters at the end of the day is what we do good for the people,” and pleaded for national unity among political parties and across ideologies, asking to “quarantine COVID politics.”
