Republican Sen. Tim Scott, the party’s only Black member of the U.S. Senate, spoke on CBS Face The Nation on Sunday about a controversial video that President Donald Trump retweeted and later deleted appearing to show a person at a Central Florida retirement village shout “White Power.” Scott said he watched the full video from an event two weeks ago, which appeared to show the man shouting at protesters who were holding signs that called Trump a “bigot” and other slogans.
