John Bolton, former national security advisor for U.S. President Donald Trump, reacted on Sunday to news that a U.S. intelligence report had indicated that a Russian military intelligence unit had offered bounties to Taliban-linked militants for attacks on U.S. troops. Bolton said Trump may have denied being briefed because he “can disown everything if nobody ever told him about it.”
