Biden slams Trump over reported bounties placed on U.S., NATO troops

Former U.S. vice-president and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden slammed President Donald Trump on Saturday over reports Russia had offered bounties to Afghan militants for killing U.S. and NATO soldiers, and that Trump had been briefed on the alleged bounties in March. He also criticized Trump, saying that the president had “continued his embarrassing of campaign of deference and debasing himself before Vladimir Putin,” saying Trump in office has been a “gift to Putin.”
