‘Simpsons’ drops using white actors to voice characters of colour

Producers of “The Simpsons” television show announced on Friday it would stop using white actors to voice characters of colour, following years of public pressure about the show’s Indian-American character Apu. Hank Azaria, who voiced the role for years, announced earlier this year he would no longer play the character.
