University of Calgary leads research into the effects of social distancing on teenagers

Approximately 50% of mental illness begins in emerging adulthood. The COVID-19 pandemic has increased risk for this vulnerable age group. Dr. Gina Dimitropoulos is helping to lead a project in expanding access to mental health services for youth through online evidence-based psychotherapy.
